La Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas, a través de la Secretaría de Gestión Escolar y la Secretaria Extensión y Difusión, mediante la Dirección de Participación Estudiantil y la Dirección de Difusión Cultural, invitan a los estudiantes universitarios a participar en el ¨Primer Festival Universitario de las Aves“, a realizarse durante los días 27 y 28 del mes de octubre, con motivo de la conmemoración del “Día mundial de las Aves Migratorias“ y como parte de las acciones que se generan por la celebración del “2018 año de las Aves“.

Birdwatching 

In celebration of World Migratory Bird Day- Karanambu Lodge and Trust, pioneers in conservation and birding tourism in the Rupununi and Guyana is hosting its first ever Karanambu Bird Festival to promote the the importance of birds and bird conservation to the region and inspire another generation of birding watchers, conservationists and tour guides. Events commentce at 8am, invited are young people ages 8-18yrs form the villages of Yupukari, Kwaimatta, Quatatta, Massara and Binna Hill to enjoy a day of learnign and fun. with birdwatchign trips, games, crafts and lunch.

Esta actividad forma parte del Programa de Voluntariado Ambiental en Ríos y Custodia del Territorio de la Fundación Biodiversidad y la Asociación La Carraca. El Paisaje Protegido del Humedal de Ajauque y Rambla Salada acoge poblaciones de aves acuáticas de gran importancia por tratarse de un humedal permanente en un área de condiciones de extrema aridez.

Se realizó una actividad de observación de aves en Playa del Chivo, con estudiantes universitarios de un círculo de interés

For the fourth year, Vaseux Lake Bird Observatory is holding an open house to give people a chance to see birds being banded, go on a guided walk with nature interpreters and learn about birds and bird migration.

Dubai Safari Park celebrated the World Migratory Bird Day on 13th October, 2018. We organized a bird watching programme for our employees and visited Al Qudra Lakes in Al Marmoom Conservation Reserve, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was a successful programme. Many species of common and rare birds were sighted in which many were migratory and winter visitor to the country. Discussion was made on long term conservation planning of migratory birds in the UAE and elsewhere.
