Tropical Biodiversity & Social Enterprise, is organising birdwatching and environnmental education activity to celebrate WMBD 2018: 

09th of may 2018: Films projections following by slides presentations on bird migration and why madagascar is important. 

12th of may 2018: Birdwatching activity start at  6 am with brief talk on safety and program and following by 2 hours bird observations, identification and counting along the BEVAVA beach and Lake of Ambinanibe

Hit the trails and bring your binoculars! Hawk Mountain Sanctuary invites guests to come celebrate migratory birds across the world with children's crafts, games, and information stations about bird migration. Activities will incorporate the World Migratory Bird Day 2018 theme, Year of the Bird. 

Then join us at 5 pm for our first Spring Lecture presented by Hawk Watch International's founder, Steve Hoffman, in which he talks about Hawk Mountain's raptor conservation legacy stretching westward.

All events are FREE!

Third graders will celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with bird walks, a visit from the raptor center, and bird making activities!

Since 2013, Fundación Científica ARA MACAO celebrates the Migratory Bird Day in Venezuela, both in spring and autumn. Performs several activities both in the interior and in some Caribbean islands (Los Roques, Margarita and Coche). Environmental education and scientific activities are carried out to show local communities the importance of migratory birds conservation.

World Migratory Bird Day Celebration at the BLM visitor center in Pilar, NM.  Free birdwatching tours with Wildlife Biologist, Ryan Besser at 6:30 and 9:00 am.  Educational activities from 8:00 am until 11:00 am and a live Raptor presentation at 11:00 to noon.  Free t-shirts and other prizes.  

Join us May 12, 2018 for World Migratory Bird Day at Fernbank Science Center.  There will be free fun for the whole family, including bird activities, live bird demonstrations, a binocular "training" course and much more.  This year we are also hosting a photography contest sponored by the Georgia Nature Photography Association and Fernbank Science Center.  The title of the competition is "Migratory Birds of the Southeast" 

Join the Toronto Zoo and Rouge National Urban Park in celebrating World Migratory Bird Day!
There will be birdwatching hikes in the Rouge National Urban Park. Bird related displays and activities set up on the Zoo site by various bird related organizations, as well as spotting scopes set up at Weston Pond on the Zoo site.​

Come celebrate the return of our feathered friends as they migrate back to Calgary after the winter season. Learn about migration and conservation from local birding experts, enjoy nature-themed games and crafts, and go on a guided sanctuary tour. Bring the family to enjoy this international celebration dedicated to birds and their habitats.​

The Boundary Bay Park Association (BBPA) is hosting a Mother’s Day event to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day! Enjoy a birding walk, as well as informative and interesting displays by local nature organizations, such as Delta Naturalist’s Society, Metro Vancouver Parks Interpreters, and others. Refreshments will be provided.​
