Educational Activity

We are running Khurkh Bird ringing station in below location since 2015. This year we are planning to invite two classes of students from two nearest county high schools (Khurkh and Binder town). 

Approximately, 100 students will see our ringing station during 12-13th May, they will learn about how study bird migration and bird ringing helps bird conservation.

The event was scheduled for May 16 or 18. It will be held on May 4 and a few days before mentioned other activities will be carried out on the school campus.

For that week of May we will be doing activities related to birds, their habitats (region where they live on the island) and making of aviaries. We will have videos of how ecosystems have been affected after the passage of Hurricane Maria.

El Día Mundial de la Aves Migratorias en Ancón, busca sensibilizar entre el público visitante al parque Central y Balneario de Ancón sobre la importancia de conservar a las aves especialmente a las aves migratorias.

El evento contará con talleres educativos, conferencias y observación de aves. 

La participación es libre! 

El festival de las aves en los Humedales de Ventanilla, se realizá en marco de las celebraciones del Día Mundial de las Aves Migratorias.

Las actividades se realizarán en el Parque Ecológico Municipal El Mirador "Humedales de Ventanilla" a partir de las 9:00am. Tendremos talleres educativos, diversas charlas, observación de aves y mucho más. Ven con tu familia, el ingreso es libre!

Birdwalks timed to the World Migratory Bird Day will be organized on IBAs in three different regions of Uzbekistan. On IBA ‘Dalverzin hunting-management area’, for instance, birdwalks for local people and visitors of this site will be focused on breeding biome species of the unique riparian forest. This event will be in line with ‘We need this forest!’ campaign aimed at the restoration and maintenance of the riparian forest in Dalverzin.

El evento llamado "Caño Negro: Aves, Agua y Gente" tiene como objetivo despertar en los niños el interes por la conservación de la biodiverdad.  

En esta ocasión se realizarán charlas en dos escuelas del distrito de Caño Negro, en las comunidades de Caño Negro y Buenos Aires, sobre educación ambiental y la importancia de las aves migratorias para el humedal y Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre Mixto Caño Negro. 

Join the City of New London for a FREE event May 12 from 8-11am at the central shelter house of Hatten Park. We'll celebrate the return of Spring and the return of migratory birds. Bring your binoculars, or borrow a pair (please bring ID for collateral), walk the trails and listen for the songs of the breeding birds. We'll have audio CDs playing in the shelter to match the singer with his song. There will be activities for the kids and Wild Ones Natural Landscapers will bring native plants for purchase.

Celebrating World Migratory Bird Day in Beigua UNESCO Global Geopark.

A day of birdwatching in the Park. Don't forget your binoculars to search the sky for magnificent birds of prey flying through the peaks and over the sea.
Ask our Ornithologist to help you identify the different species.

We are celebrating World Migratory Bird Day with an event at Rosegg Animal Park. 

The event program includes info stands, presentations, a guided tour at Northern Bald Ibis aviary, movie screenings, crafts and other activities for children. A talk on reintroduction of Northern Bald Ibis in Europe by Life project and a lecture on bird migration are among other event highlights.
