Boundary Bay Park Association's World Migratory Bird Day

The Boundary Bay Park Association (BBPA) is hosting a Mother’s Day event to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day! Enjoy a birding walk, as well as informative and interesting displays by local nature organizations, such as Delta Naturalist’s Society, Metro Vancouver Parks Interpreters, and others. Refreshments will be provided.​

Big May Day Bird Count at Gibson Woods Nature Preserve

The Big May Day Bird Count (BMDBC) provides a data snapshot of the bird populations across Indiana on World Migratory Bird Day. Beginner and experienced birders may participate. Attend the pre-count meeting for locations and assignments.

Discovering the Botanical Garden: the trees and their inhabitants - Alla scoperta dell'Orto Botanico: gli alberi e i loro abitanti

A morning dedicated to urban biodiversity within the Botanical Garden of Naples.

Accompanied by an expert, we will discover the importance of the Garden and its trees for the birdlife, a nesting site for many species but also a stopping point for migratory birds. A real green oasis between asphalt and city buildings!

Celebration of World Migratory Bird Day on Ulcinj Salina

Center for Protection and Research of birds will celebrate the World Migratory Bird Day by organizing bird watching field trip on Ulcinj salina, one of the most important sites for breeding, roosting, wintering and feeding of birds on eastern Adriatic.

Bird ringing and Birdwatching in Asinara National Park - Sardinia (Italy)

During our project of bird ringing to study the spring migration of birds (2018 is the 21st year of activity of our ringing station), we will also complete a detailed list of all the sightings of birds during the weekend and we will greet all the visitors of the National Park, explaining them the migration routes and the ecology of birds, and raising awareness about conservation.

Bird watching in Park (Fateh-Karaj-Iran) for every one

This will be the second bird-watching activity in the public park called Fatah Garden located in city of Karaj in Iran . The program is in partnership with the Iranian Birdwatching Club. The event is open for everyone. Its purpose is to attract people's attention and raise awareness about birds and the migration of birds.
The program manager will be Ramin Mohammadi.

World Migratory Bird Day at Myrick Park

Migrate to the Marsh at Myrick Park, Saturday, May 5, 2018 to celebrate the 2018 World Migratory Bird Day.  Join us for a sunrise birding hike, bird banding demonstration, family-friendly birding walk, live raptor presentation, and bird-themed crafts and games.  All ages and abilities are welcome!  FREE

Fourth Annual WMBD Event in Terengganu, Malaysia

For the fourth year in a row, the University Malaysia Terengganu, University Sultan Zain Alabidin and the Malaysian Nature Society Terengganu Branch are joining efforts again to celebrate the WMBD2018, and raise awareness on bird migration and conservation. 

Yala wetland conservation

The event will bring community and schools together in an educational activity with a mission to conserve Yala wetland and its habitat. The event aims to unite environment conservation clubs, environmentalist and conservation partners.
