Birdwatching

La République du Niger est un vaste territoire enclavé et aride. Sa superficie est de 1 267 000 km2, et s'étend entre 11°37 et 24°33 de latitude Nord et 0°06 et 16° de longitude Est avec Niamey comme capitale.

Community bird watching walk to observe migratory birds and local shorebirds.

During the trip birdwatchers will be able to observe a lot of birds from among 206 species, which were recorded by the ?wierklaniec Reservoir. This is the most important area for migratory birds in Silesian Upland. Route of the trip leads through the meadows, marshes, reed scrubs and buffer strips. The trip is starting at 3.30 p.m. Meeting place is near the seat of the Volunteer Fire Department in Niezdara, St. Florian's Square, Niezdara, gmina O?arowice. Nearby there is the bus station "Niezdara". The trip is expected to be finished about 8 p.m., in the same place.

Join Naturalist Pat Rydquist to look and listen for the threatened cerulean warbler in this Important Bird Area. All other birds will be a bonus.

Ornithological observations

We are for the first time celebrating WORLD MIGRATORY BIRD DAY-2013 in Dehradun which is the capital city of the newly formed state Uttrakhand in India.
I have worked on Migratory Birds for many years of my life and we at BUGHADI FOUNDATION are organising a meeting and onsite bird watching event at the Migratory Bird site.

Come and enjoy a day of fun and learning about birds and their migration at Wings Over Weston on Saturday, May 11th, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Activities will include: live bird presentations, guided bird hikes, live music from the Bluegrass Tornadoes, a native plant sale, children's games, crafts, and activities, and much more! Event activities will be held at the open shelter and surrounding areas at Weston Bend State Park, located at 16600 Highway 45 North in Weston, MO 64098.

Häckande duvhök och korp samt stenknäck är ett urval fågelarter som vi kommer att studera. Skogskyrkogården har många naturkvaliteter, inte minst ornitologiska. Någon förkunskap om fåglar behövs inte, vi kommer att prata om alla arter som vi får se. Vandringen genomförs oavsett väder. Ta med matsäck. Kikare är ett måste, två finns för utlåning.
