We will organize lectures, seminars, symposia, painting competition, wetland visit and Nature Camp. Migratory Birds photo exhibition.

The Lekki Bird Club (LBC) will be commemorating this day with a bird-watching expedition to Tarkwa Bay.

Obrączkowanie migrujących ptaków dostarcza informacji m.in. o trendach ich liczebności, trasach i terminach wędrówek, ich kondycji w czasie migracji, które mogą posłużyć do monitoringu i ochrony wędrownych ptaków. Jak co roku od ponad 50 lat, i tej wiosny będziemy obrączkować ptaki na naszych dwóch stacjach na polskim wybrzeżu – Hel i Bukowo. W czasie World Migratory Bird Day – 11 maja 2013 – zapraszamy do odwiedzenia naszych stacji terenowych, do bliskiego kontaktu z wędrującymi ptakami, przyjrzenia się obrączkowaniu i wspólnych obserwacji ptaków, z pomocą doświadczonych ornitologów.

Once again bringing you the good news of our avian conservation initiative now in its sixth year, creating yet another wonderful opportunity for you all to contribute by your participation in this, a truly international bird conservation activity in Uttarakhand Himalayas. Patrolling the coastal area between "Capo dell'Armi" and "Bagnara Calabra" to follow the migration of birds of prey (mainly Honey Buzzards and Storks) and to prevent acts of poaching. Volunteers work closely with the Police, in particular with the special anti-poaching unit of the State Forest Service (NOA-CFS).

The event will be used to give more skills to birders, educate local people and school children about the importance of birds to humankinds life. Also natural habitats and environment protection will be taught in camp so as to create more awareness about migratory birds and natural habitats protection.

This event will be organized in our camping site in Limth, Dragash Municipality, Kosovo. Before we go to Limth, we are going to visit a wetland of Liqeni i Breznes which is on the road to Limth. Limth is a camping site where our organization frequently goes there with its members and sometimes for a couple of day with the reason of bird watching, tourism, hiking, etc.

We shall have a two Day Event Day 1: Bird Watching- Teaching school children the general principles of birding to help them appreciate the value and uniqueness of birds Day 2: Lectures on Migration of birds and the connection between Birds and Tourism; Schools expected to come up with bird conservation related songs; dramas and other forms of creative arts

Migratory Raptors Camp in the Conero Park is an activity carried on since '90s. Conero Park is a hot spot of raptors during spring migration season: infact each years we observe about 10.000 raptors on pass! So, we will stay in a perfect overview point to observe the raptors that coming from SW and go to NW or Croatia. We have binoculars and telescopes for everybody!
