Bird Day is a free event for all ages.  Starts at 9 am and ends at 1 pm at Red River National WIldlife Refuge in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Spring Wings Bird Festival

Spring Wings Bird Festival began in 1998 to celebrate the migration through the Lahontan Valley. The mission of the annual event is to develop and promote an entertaining community activity that can be enjoyed by residents and visitors to Lahontan Valley for the purpose of education and strengthening awareness of the importance of these unique wetlands to the Pacific Flyway and the entire Western Hemisphere.

Bird Walk @ Warriors Path State Park Spring Festival

Lots going on this weekend. We will be doing a bird walk on Duck Island at Warriors' Path State Park, Saturday, April 13th at 8:00 AM. There will be a short presentation at 7:30 in the rec building. Followed by the bird walk at 8 AM. We expect to see lots of species highlighted by a soaring Osprey, Yellow-throated Warbler, and a Yellow-throated Vireo. Come on out.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 4, 2019, for our 9th annual bird festival, Wings of Spring at City Hall in River Falls, WI

What better way to celebrate spring than by welcoming the migratory birds and their songs back to our winter weary landscape! This family-friendly and informative event reflects our mission, via education and exposure, to encourage interest in birds and to promote habitat conservation and restoration efforts.

Location: River Falls City Hall, 222 Lewis Street, River Falls, WI and along the White Kinnickinnic Pathway.

El ejido de san agustín ofrece una feria anual, en la cual se realizan diversas actividades culturales y recreativas, nosotros tendremos un stand donde ofreceremos pláticas acerca de la problemática que acarrea el uso desmedido del plástico, las aves y su importancia, talleres de huertos urbanos, juegos y pintura para los niños.

Migrate to the Marsh at Myrick Park for World Migratory Bird Day

WisCorps, Coulee Region Audubon Society, US Fish and Wildlife Service, US Geological Survey and the City of La Crosse are hosting a World Migratory Bird Day celebration in Myrick Park and at the Myrick Park Center on Saturday May 4, 2019 from 6:30 am – 12 noon.  This entirely FREE event includes a sunrise birding hike, bird banding demonstration, family-friendly birding walks, River Valley Raptors live raptor presentation and booth, bird-themed crafts and games.

Explore the Outdoors: World Migratory Bird Day

On Saturday, April 13, Fort Caroline National Memorial will host the 6th annual Explore the Outdoors: World Migratory Bird Day. This event will feature a variety of hands-on activities focusing on migratory birds and their protected habitat in Northeast Florida. This year’s theme is “Protect Birds: Be the solution to plastic pollution.” By making changes individually and within our communities, we can make a difference in the fight against plastic pollution, improving habitat and survival rates for birds.
