Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day at the UGA Aquarium! Learn about the incredible diversity of shorebirds that visit our coast during their migratory journeys. Bring the family for a fun day of hands-on activities, interactive presentations and animal encounters.

Cost: General Admission to the UGA Aquarium. Please note that we only accept cash or check for aquarium admission. Visit this page to learn about admission prices.

Spring Migration Festival by Great Swamp Conservancy

To honor and celebrate migratory birds, each year the Great Swamp Conservancy hosts a Spring Migration Festival. At this festival we have live birds of prey, tractor rides, live music, reptiles, chicken bbq, a petting zoo, games, face painting, wildlife artists, local crafters and so much more!

Bird Walks, Bird Related Educational Activities and Games, Bird Identification, Mist Net and Banding Demonstration! 

A Bird Themed Poster Art Contest for local students Kindergarten through 6th Grade.

World Migratory Bird Day Festival by Sacajawea Audubon Society

Bozeman's 2nd annual WMBD Festival, presented by Sacajawea Audubon Society! On Friday, May 10th at 7pm at the Ellen Theater we are featuring the Bozeman premiere of Epic Yellowstone: Life on the Wing from Grizzly Creek Films and the Smithsonian Channel with a panel discussion and Q&A with the Bozeman based filmmakers. Then on Saturday, May 11th from 10am-1pm we will host a festival of family activities at the Bozeman Public Library. We will have games, crafts, and live birds!

Vancouver Bird Week 2019

From bird nerd to bird curious, from wise old owl to adventurous tot, there is an event for everyone during Vancouver Bird Week: May 11-17, 2019. Bird Week is a week-long series of events to celebrate Vancouver’s birds. It was inspired by World Migratory Bird Day, a United Nations-sponsored initiative that recognizes the importance of birds as key indicators of our environment’s health. During Bird Week, there will be bird-related workshops, walks, talks, exhibitions, and lectures across Lower Mainland. Most events are free.

22nd Annual Detroit Lakes Festival of Birds

Annual migration celebration in northwest Minnesota where tallgrass prairie, hardwood and conifer forests uniquely merge with wetlands. Morning guided fieldtrips, socials, exhibitors. Evening presentations by Carrol Henderson on his role in the recovery of the Peregrine Falcon, humorist/writer Al Batt, and Lyanda Haupt on her recent book Mozart's Starling. Point Reyes Birding & Nature Festival: Saturday Youth & Family Programming

The Environmental Action Committee of West Marin (EAC) is proud to partner with Amigos Alados to bring FREE youth and family programming to the annual Point Reyes Birding & Nature Festival. Children 3 to 18 accompanied by their families are invited. The festivities will take place on the lawn at 65 Third Street, Point Reyes Station, California, from 10:00 to 2:00.
