Guanajuato 4º Campamento del Día Mundial de las aves Migratorias

 Comenzaremos con conferencias y dinámicas aprendiendo sobre la importancia de las aves y su migración. Al anochecer se proyectarán películas/documentales al aire libre con temas de importancia en la conservación de las aves. Al amanecer tendremos un recorrido por el parque y parte del ANP Cerro de Arandas, finalizando con una comida (picnic) y agradecimiento a los participantes.

Celebrate together World Migratory Bird Day at Chukh lake, Mongolia

We will organize the WMBD event at Chukh lake, and entirely based on Chukh Bird Research Station. It is vital to organize WMBD event among the local kids and herder families at Chukh Lake, in northeastern Mongolia which is an important stopover site for many species of migratory birds especially for shorebirds. We are very excited to lead on this celebration! Let's enjoy with us.

An awareness programmes are being organised bu THE HIMALAYAN AVIAN at the bank of Nikki Tawi River (Jammu, Jammu Kashmir, India) in which local people residing near the Tawi River and wetlands to  connect with world of birds, that come to their land to pass a few months in winter. Let us welcome these birds as our guests. An awareness programme will be organised because thousands of migratory birds come here every year.

Birds on the Niagara

Birds on Niagara is in our 3rd year as an International Bird Festival celebrating both the winter birds on the Niagara River Strait, and providing year round educational activities with partners on both sides of the border.  Our goals are to both raise the awarness of birds, and to help to introduce citizen science to very critical conservation needs. This spring during the Corvid-19 pandemic we are hosting a series of vitural events to help keep people connected.

2do Campamento Dìa Mundial de las Aves Migratorias, San Luis Potosí

Actividades: 1. Charla a la fogata: El fenómeno de migración Espacio abierto a diálogo por todo participante para abordar el tema de la migración, el nomadismo a nivel mundial, histórico y de manera general de las especies animales incluido el ser humano. Poner sobre la mesa los retos a los que se enfrentan los individuos. Al finalizar acotar con la migración de aves. 2. Observación de aves nocturnas.. Oprtunidad para entender que alguans especies de aves migratorias migran por la noche y por qué lo hacen y cómo afectan las luces artificiales en su traslado. 3. Observación de aves diurnas.

Talking face to face with pepole near Zayanderud river

On May 11th, some members of AvayeBoom Bird Conservation Society, in collaboration with cultural department of Nazhvan Forest Park, went among people in this park to introduce this day and talk face to face with them about this year’s theme: “Protect Birds: Be The Solution To Plastic Pollution”. Taking photos of people while holding the day’s poster, our members listened to people’s solutions and suggestions and talked to them about harms of plastic for nature and birds in particular.

Public Birdwatching near ZayandehRud river

On 10th of May, AvayeBoom Bird Conservation Society led a group of 12 birdwatching and environmentalist enthusiasts. On this 3-hour tour that lasted from 8 am to 11am, participants got to watch the birds on eastern bank of Zayenderud river at Bagh-e-Javan Park in Esfahan. Luckily, due to the flowing water and mild weather condition, around 20 bird species were observed and identified. Following is the list of observed birds:
Little bittern 
Night heron
Eurasian golden oriole
Little egret
Cattle egret
Willow warbler
Moorhen
Hooded crow

Wildlife Safari Park Bird Watching Campout

Wildlife Safari Park Bird Watching Campout is for Families and Small groups interested in Bird Watching.  Early evening and mornings, at the park, offer some of the best bird viewing, so bring your sleeping bag, binoculars and cameras and join us for this special opportunity.  Groups will stay in separate tents with cots or are welcome to bring their own tent for use.
