Voice unification for birds conservation from Fort-dauphin, Madagascar to the world

As in 2017, this year the "Tropical Biodiversity and Social Enterprise" (TBSE) decided to celebrate the World Migratory Bird Day here in Fort Dauphin, Madagascar. The event centered around three main activities : Movie watching ; Educational Activity ; Birdwatching, and will be celebrated on the 9th of May, and the 12th of May. The first session of the 9th of May includes film screening and educational activity. We hope to host around 40 students from schools arond the town.

Lecture about Kosiv`birds with the video (Ukraine)

Specialists of the department of Environmental Education of the National Park "Hutsulshchyna" held an educational lecture on birds for pupils of the 5th grade of the Cherhanivka`s school. Schoolchildren were pleased and learned a lot about Kosivshchyna`s birds.

The importance of the migratory birds "Unifying our Voices for Bird Conservation"

Kuwait Lens Team sponserd by KFAS (Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science) held an event In one of Al-Amiri Diwan's projects, The Habitat Museum, located in Al-Shaheed Park, Kuwait. The Team took a tour inside the Museum and saw all the 3D printed birds samples, then they showcased a short movie they made by them about migratory birds in Kuwait followed by a lecture from Eng. Ali Younis. The lecture was about the air photography by drones and how the use of it could help us study the birds more and in depth. Finally, Prof.

On Wednesday the 9th of May, 18:00 to 20:00 at the Museum Koenig, we will be showing a wonderful film, Winged Migration, telling you the story of migratory birds' journey through continents and oceans, and our CMS bird expert will be happy to explain more about the current state of migratory birds, and what we can do to protect them.

MADAGASCAR MIGRATORY BIRD MONITORING 2018

Tropical Biodiversity & Social Enterprise, is organising birdwatching and environnmental education activity to celebrate WMBD 2018: 

09th of may 2018: Films projections following by slides presentations on bird migration and why madagascar is important. 

12th of may 2018: Birdwatching activity start at  6 am with brief talk on safety and program and following by 2 hours bird observations, identification and counting along the BEVAVA beach and Lake of Ambinanibe

Hi all fellows !!!

The event was scheduled for May 16 or 18. It will be held on May 4 and a few days before mentioned other activities will be carried out on the school campus.

For that week of May we will be doing activities related to birds, their habitats (region where they live on the island) and making of aviaries. We will have videos of how ecosystems have been affected after the passage of Hurricane Maria.

Reason for Hope - an event at Rosegg Animal Park

We are celebrating World Migratory Bird Day with an event at Rosegg Animal Park. 

The event program includes info stands, presentations, a guided tour at Northern Bald Ibis aviary, movie screenings, crafts and other activities for children. A talk on reintroduction of Northern Bald Ibis in Europe by Life project and a lecture on bird migration are among other event highlights.

United event for the World Migratory Bird Day

Wildlife Science and Conservation Center of Mongolia invited individuals and organizations that love birds to celebrate the World Migratory Bird Day in 2017. The celebration will be a joint united event by the Mongolian Bird Watching Club, Mongolian Bird Conservation Center, Gamma Photography Agency, United Association of Mongolian Photographers, and the Ulaanbaatar City Government.
