Célébrée en Tunisie par une seule organisation en 2006, la Journée Mondiale des Oiseaux Migrateurs (JMOM) connait depuis trois années un formidable essor ; les associations tunisiennes sont toujours plus nombreuses à organiser des activités autour de la migration des oiseaux et la conservation de l’environnement.

We shall have a two Day Event Day 1: Bird Watching- Teaching school children the general principles of birding to help them appreciate the value and uniqueness of birds Day 2: Lectures on Migration of birds and the connection between Birds and Tourism; Schools expected to come up with bird conservation related songs; dramas and other forms of creative arts

World Migratory Bird Day

14th Dec 2013: Celebrated 1st anniversary of Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve with Corbett Foundation to create awareness & educate school children from Ramnagar town about migratory birds. This was held in Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve. 11th May 2014: Awareness & capacity building with the farming community around Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve about migratory birds.

Birding-rally "Geese and swans"

Spring traditional Birding Rally "Geese&Swans" is an ornithological team sport competition by car. Each team should reach each section of the rally route within the time limit, photographing and identifying the greatest possible number of bird species encountered on the route. This route will go through natural protected areas and historic sites and that consider birding as an important strategy that can contribute effectively to the conservation of most diverse and threatened areas. It is a 3 day event that brings together around 70 people

Join ICENECDEV TO Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day2014 in Cameroon

The activities to mark the celebration of the world migratory bird day 2014 by the international Centre For Environmental Education and Community Development (ICENECDEV) will include: Educative talks/lecture on the importance of world migratory birdday 2014, -Taxi/bike sensitisation campaigns -Radio half hour -Essay and drawing competition among youths -Tree planting Exercise.
