Educational Activity

Se disertara una charla y proyección de un video relacionado con las Aves Migratorias, dirigida a los estudiantes, maestros, representantes de la Junta Parroquial, padres de familia; luego se entablara un foro de preguntas y respuestas para una mejor comprensión del tema abordado.

Mediante el presente la Dirección Provincial del Ambiente de Imbabura, pone en su conocimiento lo solicitado con Memorando Nro. MAE-CGZ4-DPAM-2013-0494 de fecha, 09 de abril de 2013, " CREANDO REDES PARA CONSERVAR LAS AVES MIGRATORIAS":

World Migratory Bird Day will be jointly organised by FRIENDS OF THE ENVIRONMENT CENTRE & KAINAT FOUNDATION,Doha-Qatar by involving youth and students.
The activities will include a conference on Migratory Birds, painting competitions, bird watching, camp and lecture by experts on Birds in Qatar followed by cultural events on Migratory Birds.

On 11 May 2013, a regional World Migratory Bird Day event will be held in Kenya, the launching country of WMBD. The event will take place at Lake Elementaita, including activities such exhibitions, speeches by honored guests and various forms of entertainment, such as an acrobatic show.

We will build a shorebird with the children (using recycled materials)and we will make a compromise to protect and care shorebirds.

La République du Niger est un vaste territoire enclavé et aride. Sa superficie est de 1 267 000 km2, et s'étend entre 11°37 et 24°33 de latitude Nord et 0°06 et 16° de longitude Est avec Niamey comme capitale.

The International Fund for Houbara Conservation (IFHC), in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), is inviting children from local schools to visit to our Houbara conservation centre located in Sweihan - Abu Dhabi. As part of the visit programme they will assist in releasing captive-bred Houbara into the wild and will be shown a video about the migration of the Houbara by our ecologists, who will provide a commentary on the work of IFHC in preserving the Houbara.

During the trip birdwatchers will be able to observe a lot of birds from among 206 species, which were recorded by the ?wierklaniec Reservoir. This is the most important area for migratory birds in Silesian Upland. Route of the trip leads through the meadows, marshes, reed scrubs and buffer strips. The trip is starting at 3.30 p.m. Meeting place is near the seat of the Volunteer Fire Department in Niezdara, St. Florian's Square, Niezdara, gmina O?arowice. Nearby there is the bus station "Niezdara". The trip is expected to be finished about 8 p.m., in the same place.
