Ornithological observations on the Lower Danube promenade

Ornithological observations on the Lower Danube promenade with the participation of 65 students from Secondary School no. 26 Galati and volunteers from nongovernmental association "Youth and Future ". Children were informed about the importance of conserving migratory bird species and made drawings of birds observed.

Flying in of 5000 Commun Cranes in the swamps near Babogaya

Every Year, from half November to half of February, thousands of migratory common cranes are flying in from the surrounding fields to these swamps. The Viewpoint Lodge is organizing by sunset this visit for all interested people staying in the lodge.The visit is for free.

Ornithological observations in Lower Prut Floodplain Natural Park – Vladesti Lake, with the participation of 60 students from the three schools : Middle School "Vasile Seicaru " from Oancea Village, Secondary School from Baleni Village and Middle School No.28 from Galaţi County. Children were informed about the importance of conserving migratory bird species and completed worksheets prepared by the Environmental Protection Agency Galati.

WMBD in MACEDONIA

Since 2006 BSPSM has organized many of ecological action and other activities to promout WMBD, CMS, AEWA, CBD, RCW, CITES, BC/CE for Natire Conservation and especialy for conservation of migratoru birds and thair natural habitats. Every year we have organise Weec of Migratory Bird (7 days. This year ecological and ornithological section of the SPSM have prepared Programs whit components for trening, education of young peoples, scouls, NGOs and Private Sector from 30 region in Macedonia (5-11. May 2014).

Winged Visitors...

I have been following migratory birds throughout the year and have been visiting areas around Gurgaon. I saw some unusual species this year, such as White Fronted Goose.

This year, the bird count was high. I plan to continue my activities for the rest of the year.

Birdwatching Event

Birdwatching and educational event co-organised by local NGOs, including introduction from EAAFP, educational lecture, field trip to tidal flats and local black-faced spoonbill breeding site, drawing competition and children's activity.
