11 de mayo, Día Mundial de las Aves Migratorias en Urdaibai Bird Center

Durante toda la mañana, Urdaibai Bird Center celebrará con los visitantes la importancia de las aves migratorias que visitan la Reserva de la Biosfera de Urdaibai, introduciendo a todo el que se acerque en el fascinante mundo de las aves. Entre otras actividades, habrá una jornada divulgativa de anillamiento científico de aves, visitas guiadas gratuitas al centro y observación de aves migratorias con ayuda de técnicos del centro.

A DAY WITH BIRDLIFE

Hirpora Wildlife Sanctuary falls in the Shopian District of the Kashmir Valley in Jammu and Kashmir State India and is one of the only two protected areas in J&K where you can get to see the largest wild goat of the World-The Markhor (Capra Falconeri). Besides,the sanctuary is home to around 20 otrher species of mammals and 125 species of birds. As a part of World Migratory Bird Day (WMBD) 2014, INDIA ECO EDGE CONSULTANCY has decided to celebrate the event as “A DAY WITH BIRDLIFE” by conducting a bird-watching event.

World Migratory Bird Day alla Riserva Naturale Regionale dei Ghirardi

Domenica 11 Maggio birdwatching all'Oasi WWF-Riserva Naturale dei Ghirardi in occasione del World Migratory Bird Day. Una passeggiata lungo il crinale di M. Rizzone, con partenza dal Centro Visite di case Pradelle alle ore 9.30 e ritorno alle 12.30, scrutando i cieli per osservare il ritorno in Europa di Falchi pecchiaioli, Nibbi bruni, Rigogoli, Gruccioni e decine di altre specie di uccelli migratori. Necessari scarponcini da escursione e giacca a vento. Consigliato il binocolo. Escursione gratuita con guida GAE, possibilità di associarsi al WWF sul posto.

Nature Iraq 10th Anniversary

As part of Nature Iraq's 10th Anniversary Festival, we will be celebrating World Migratory Bird Day by conducting birdwatching trips, displaying a photo exhibition, and holding an educational event for children.

Ornithological observations - Tălăbasca Lake

EPA Galati organize ornithological observations in ROSPA0071 Lunca Siretului Inferior - nature reserve Tălăbasca Lake , with the participation of 20 students from the High School Technology "Tudor Vladimirescu" . Children had the opportunity to observe more species of birds including rare species such as Great White Pelican (Pelecanus onocrotalus) , Ruddy Shelduck (Tadorna ferruginea), Ferruginous Duck (Aythya nyroca) or Squacco heron (Ardeola ralloides).

World Migratory Bird Day 2014

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources in Region VII, Philippines was celebrate the World Migratory Bird Day last May 10,2014 at Olango Island Wildlife Sanctuary. The DENR-7 conducted a Field Exercise on Migratory Bird Identification and Orientation on the importance of migratory birds/ biodiversity and a painting contest which is participated by the High School Students of Sta. Rosa National High School.

Wolrd Migratory Bird Day

The event started with a nature walk to Lake Munyanyange where 12 Afro-tropical and 5 Palearctic migrants were recorded. This was followed by an exercise dubbed “Keep Katwe Clean” which aimed at raising awareness on solid waste management as a means of maintaining the integrity sites of migratory birds.
Lakes Munyanyange and Katwe, found in Katwe town council are bird migration stopovers in Uganda and present a unique opportunity to watch different migratory birds such as the Lesser Flamingo, Lesser-black-backed Gulls and Pied Avocets among others.

Primer Festival de Las aves en la Reserva de la Biosfera LosTuxtlas

La Reserva de la Biosfera de Los Tuxtlas es una areaatural Protegida la cual mantiene una gran riqueza avifaunistica albergando a más de 500 especies de aves con una proporción del 40% de especies migratorias de Norteamérica.

Pintando migratorias

Jornada en la que pintaremos aves migratorias, y exposición de pinturas de años anteriores.
También se hará una salida de observación de aves en el Cañón del Río Combeima
