World Migratory Bird Day/ Clallam County Birdathlon

Count the birds in Clallam County! Field parties will spread out through many habitats of Clallam County, to count as many birds as possible from the Olympic Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. You can count a small area, your favorite birding spots, or plan a special route to include all habitats. Fossil-fuel free birding is encouraged!

This event holds the record for the highest number of species seen in one county in one day in Washington State, 193 species in 1999.
