We plan to hold a one day event at the shores of Oloidien Bay in Naivasha and the activities of the day will include bird watching, bird ringing, brief speeches on the significance and relevance of the event, lake Naivasha as an important habitat for migrants and the existing migratory routes. Emphasis on the theme will also be key on this event. Our target population will include students and local resource users i.e. both small and large scale, fisher folk community, local guides, lead agencies and both public and private conservation bodies within the Lake Naivasha Basin.
