Rewilding Europe – WWF Romania team aims to help the people of Sfantu Gheorghe village to translate the amasing bird diversity of the Danube Delta and their knowledge into a local touristic brand. The workshop is all about birds and tourism and how this could become an alternative income source.
The program is spread over two days. The first days is focused on knowledge exchange, networking, offering information on identification and the necessary bird watching equipment. On the second day, we put theory to practice and move outdoor for a bird watching day together, to celebrate birds’ spring migration to which the Danube Delta is very well known for.
