Urban Wildlife Conservation Day

This free, family friendly event will offer a self-guided walk through the Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Area with fun interpretive signs, nature-themed booths and activities, a native plant sale, and naturalist-led talks every 30 minutes. Phoenix's mayor Kate Gallego will be present along with other dignitaries to sign Phoenix's Urban Bird Treaty--a pledge to keep migratory birds in mind when making municipal decisions.
