Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day at White Horse Hill NGP

Held at the White Horse Hill National Game Preserve, 12 milessouth of Devils Lake, North Dakota on Hwys 20 & 57, the day begins early!  Refuge gates will open at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday for independent "early birders" who wish to walk the trails and birdwatch.  At 12 Noon the 5-mile auto tour route will open for the season.  From 12-4 pm the Refuge Visitor Center and Nature Store will be open.  Be sure to stop in and report your bird sightings on our list.  US Fish & Wildlife Service WHH Bird Checklist is available at the store desk.  1 pm the Refuge staff will provide a fun, interactive presentation for adults and you at the Visitor Center.  Refuge is open until dusk.  All activities are open to the public without charge.
