The City of Wauwatosa, in collaboration with the Forest Exploration (FEC), invites you to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day on May 14, 2022 at the FEC's Nature Trail, 1800 Forest Exploration Drive in Wauwatosa. Observe, explore and discover on two 90 minute hikes, beginning at 6:30 am and 8:30 am. The hikes will be led by Mark McNally, life-long birder and associate professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Mark will also address the significant threat light pollution poses to migratory birds.
Binoculars are recommended, but not required. All are welcome but each Tour is limited to 12 people and may fill up quickly. Accessible parking is available at the Main Entrance of the FEC, but is limited.
The City of Wauwatosa is proud to be recognized as a Bird City Wisconsin since 2020.
