The Lemsachenlok Society Yaongyimchen, Longleng, Nagaland, India Celebrated the "World Migratory Bird Day" on 10th of October 2020 in Yaongyimchen Village with the young minds of the village. The event started with an introductory note on the importance of safeguarding Migratory birds and its ecological chain by Y. Nuklu Phom, Team Leader, LEMSACHENLOK. This was followed by viewing of the Falco amurensis (Amur Falcon) through binoculars and cameras, then took a pledge to continue to support and safeguard the migratory bird while the birds are in Yaongyimchen village for 4-5 weeks and escort safely as the bird fly back to the South African region. The event ended with a prayer for the satellite tagged Amur falcon "Longleng" and with a plan to organise a welcoming program for the "Longleng" which will be its fourth round trip after being satellite tagged.
