Bird Migration Workshop

In this interactive class at the Hassayampa River Preserve with birder Kathe Anderson, we'll look at the reasons for and hazards of bird migration, as well as amazing statistics of what birds accomplish while they migrate--how their anatomy changes, how far they can fly without stopping, and how to track what birds migrate when. The class will include field time to see what migrants are visiting the Preserve. This class will be from 7:00-10:00am. Space is limited. To register, please call the Visitor Center at 928-684-2772.
