World Migratory Bird Day celebrates the journey that migratory birds make between their breeding and non-breeding homes, and seeks to inspire people of all ages to get outdoors, learn about bird conservation, and take part in this initiative. Environment for the Americas and partnering organizers helped make this possible by providing educators, event organizers, and education materials.
