Anzali wetland birdwatching movement is a project behalf of "Senobar environmental magazine" that is founded for conservation & introduction of Anzali wetland birds that promots birdwatching in Local communities.
Anzali wetland is a member of the ramsar-world wetlands convention with global importance. Anzali wetland with 195sqkm area and 3610sqkm Drainage basin , is the largest wetland of the Gilan province at the northern iran & the south side of caspian sea. with 21 different Mammals , 11 reptiles , 3 amphibians , 53 fishes and 243 birds is one of the important wetlands of iran and one of the most beautiful habitats of the midlle east for birdwatcing & ecotourism activities that is based between Hyrcanian forests and the Caspian sea.
Gilan province offers more than 170 food recipes (mostly UNESCO recognised) by its very kind people & warm hospitality that are grown up with the thousands years of iranian culture history.
