This hidden treasure is located in the Historic College Park District of Lake Worth. The park was built in 1987 by the South Florida Water Management District which currently own it. It has long been a popular place to bird and fish.
There have been 110 species of birds reported here from ebird. Some reported sightings have included Cedar Wax Wings, American Robins, Blue Headed Vireo, Spot-breasted Orioles, Cape May Warbler, Northern Parula, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, and the White eyed Vireo.
