Join members of Nature and Culture International’s team for a peaceful nature walk through riparian woodland and sage scrub in San Diego, CA on May 13, 2023 from 8-10am PST. This event is free, but RSVP's are required.
We expect to see many birds, but will be on the lookout for a few iconic long-distance travelers, like the Western wood-pewee (Contopus sordidulus) and Olive-sided flycatcher (Contopus sordidulus). These bird species will (hopefully) be visiting all the way from some of the tropical forests we protect in Latin America.
No experience is required - skilled birders who are knowledgeable about the area will guide us in our search. All you need is your love and appreciation for our natural world!
