We began with the educators' presentation to the students in general, as well as to the teacher and director of the institution. To introduce them to the topic, the lecture "Migratory Birds in Your Community" was presented, discussing the generalities of birds, which ones are migratory, their importance and presence in the community, as well as their threats in the migratory process. Subsequently, a team dynamic was conducted for the identification of 15 species of migratory birds widely distributed in the ecosystems of Ejido Rancho Faisán. At the end of this activity, questions were asked to stimulate dialogue about the shared information.
Next, the activity "Drawing Migratory Routes of Birds" was carried out, projecting the migratory route of 3 bird species, their passage through different countries, and their interaction with the existing environment. This was followed by the game "Care or Destroy," which teaches that every action, whether negative or positive, has an impact on nature.
Afterwards, "Bird Bingo" was initiated, and they were given a tour to observe the photographic exhibition of birds "Life and Color," through which they could learn about the native and migratory species recorded for the Papaloapan Basin region.
