This camp is for the future field observers and ornithological guides: Representatives of the advisory committee of the municipality of Ghar El Melh and students.
The program includes:
*a hike to the observation points of migratory birds.
*a guided tour of Jbel Nadhour to discover the biodiversity of the mountain and its landscapes
*monitoring the migration of birds and training of young participants
Objectives:
*This migration camp will allow us to count migratory birds over a specific period of time in order to compare the numbers with the information collected in the past and to appreciate the changes in the number of birds and their composition, thus allowing us to detect conservation problems of bird populations and their habitats.
*Another important component of the migration monitoring camp is the training and awareness of the participants on the phenomenon of migration in particular, and the threats to which the birds are exposed during their journey.
