About 800 students from the Grant Memorial Presbyterian School in Trinidad participated in this year's (2022) WMBD festival. Students ranged from 5 years old to 12 years old. A presentation was done for the students teaching them about migratory birds and the impact of light pollution. One of the school's students who is a budding birder presented the WMBD focus species. Art activites were done with one class with the cut out birds and masks.
