Bird Friendly Regina (Nature Saskatchewan and Nature Regina)
Event Description
Members of our BFC team are volunteering to apply Feather Friendly Collision Tape to the deck windows on an Eden Care Facility in Regina (Broadway Terrace). This deck was the recent scene of more than 20 fatal strikes involving Bohemian waxwings. CBC will be providing media coverage to help spread the message about the importance of preventing these strikes. Residents of the facility are encouraged to observe and ask questions.
It's a big deck! Volunteers can quickly and easily learn how to apply the tape . The address is 1150 Broadway Avenue, Regina, and our team will be there at noon.
