Arenzano heights are the ideal meeting point for celebrating World Migratory Bird Day: here thousands of birds of prey, like the Honey Buzzards, pass through on their way from Africa to Europe to nest. However, they are not the only ones still migrating: we will observe Booted Eagles, Hawks, Kites and young Short-toed Eagles flying across the Beigua’s sky following one of the most important migration routes.
On Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th of May, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. you can meet Beigua’s ornithologist at the Ornithological Centre for advice and suggestion to enjoy your birdwatching day. And don’t forget your binoculars.
