Hunter LLS Birds Connect Our World Bird-watching Competition (9 May-9 June)
Landholders are encouraged to conduct 20-minute 2 hectare bird surveys on their properties, to gather information after drought and fires, on local woodland and other birds, including national migratory birds such as the Regent Honeyeater and Swift Parrot. Entries are free, but must complete a short quiz and upload a link to birds they saw by loading data into the BirdLife Australia Birdata App. There will be 28 great prizes (one for each significant woodland bird of the Hunter LLS region).
