The Department of Environment gave a presentation to the After School Club at the Brades Primary School. The students were shown pictures and videos of migratory shorebirds and leared about ways to protect these species. After, the students were given colouring sheets of the Kildeer and the Sanderling. They were also given bird masks to colour and put on. Each student was given a sticker and a "bird buddy" band for their participation. A week later, the students were taken to Marguerita Bay to see migratory shorebirds. They also saw Magificent Frigatebirds and learned the sexual dimorphism within the Magnificent Frigatebirds.
