It happens every year; and this time we’re having a celebration! Join Lake Conestee Nature Park for an International Migratory Bird Day on May 11th at 601 Fork Shoals Rd. We’ll have a fun series of activity stations for kids, Moms, Dads, and other adults that will teach you the basics of birding and lots of other “birdy” facts.
Stations will include basic birding skills, how to use binoculars, a migration activity, and stations on how plastic pollution affects birds at LCNP.
Ages: recommended for ages 7 and up
Cost:
- $10 for ages 7 and up
- $5 for ages 3-7
Where: 601 Fork Shoals Rd.
When: May 11th, 9:00 am – 11:00am
