World Migratory Bird Day

Parco Natura Viva supports the Life + Reason for Hope project which is trying to reintroduce the Northern Bald Ibis in Europe re-establishing its migration route from their breeding areas in Austria to the wintering area in Tuscany (Italy). On the occasion of the World Migratory Bird Day we will learn many curiosities about this animal and we will play a funny game on migration. Furthermore, we will highlight the issue of pollution caused by plastic, to understand how this damages wildlife, especially birds. Finally we will learn how our daily behaviours can reduce this serious problem also throughout a staging area on plastic.
