Town of La Plata Fall Festival

Sunday, October 13 in La Plata, Maryland, USA the Town of La Plata will have a Fall Festival from 12 noon - 3 pm. This event will feature live music, petting zoo, moon bounce, food and vendors. The town will also be celebrating World Migratory Bird Day. The theme for this year is Protect Birds: Be the Solution to Plastic Pollution. Come to our booth and learn more, we will have volunteers from the Southern MAryland Audubon Society and the Port Tobacco river Conservancy. We will haver bird templates for children to color, informational flyers about birds and plastic pollution, and free reusable metal drinking straws provided by our feathered friend, Wild Birds Unlimited, La Plata, Maryland.
