El evento tiene como objetivo promover el turismo de observación de aves y la valoración hábitats prioritaros para las aves migratorias en Yucatán. En el marco del Festival de las Aves Toh, Ponatura Península de Yucatán A.C., en conjunto con la tour operadora Fronteras de Ecoturismo, hemos organizado este recorrido de observación de aves iniciando en San Ignacio para terminar la actividad en el ex- basurero de Progreso, zona de manglar que pertence a la Reserva Estatal de Ciénegas y Maglares de la Costa Norte de Yucatán.
