Our Association, AMECO, is going to do a educational activity about Migratory Birds and also to explain the plastic problem. In this ocasion, we are going to show nesting boxes from our anual cleaning up of our wooden bird houses, which we removed old nesting materials to minimize problems with mites and bird lice.
So now, we are going to show the old nests because is possible to see the inclusion of plastic materials inside of them. Besides, this activity is a chance to aproximate urban birds to local students and propose them to participate in our activities to improve the biodiversity of birds, for example, in next activities as cleaning up areas or in colocation of wooden bird houses.
