In conjunction with World Migratory Bird Day, we'll be conducting our annual spring count. It is sure to be warmer than the Christmas Bird count, so put it on your calendar!
As before, the Mesa County-wide count will be divided into 12 areas, with a trip leader for each area. Birders of all levels of experience are welcome to participate.
Shannon Young volunteered to coordinate the count this year. Shannon has been a birder throughout her life and travels.
Jack Trappett will continue to be the point man for receiving and compiling the count data.
