The Prince Edward County Spring Birding Festival takes place at Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory from May 11 to May 20, 2019. Activities include birding walks and birding trips with experts throughout the Prince Edward County South Shore Important Bird and Biodivsierty Area. Prince Edward County field Naturealists host nature walks throughout Prince Edward County. On World Migratory Bird Day (May 11) there will be an educational walk and beach clean up targeting information about single use plastics and the effect of plastic polution on birds. There will be an hospitality tent, bird banding demonstrations, sighting board and checklists available every day of the festival.
