Become a birdwatcher for the day and learn more about local birds while exploring nearby nature. Nature Canada’s Naturalist Director and resident bird-expert, Ted Cheskey will be leading Guided Nature Walks down by the Ottawa River in the Lac Deschenes IBA. Binoculars will be available.
Don’t miss the exciting Birds of Prey Flight Demonstration Show at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, animated by Falcon Ed, a company that specializes in falconry, training birds of prey, ecological control and educational presentations.
Our local partner, Earth Path will also have bird-related activities and nature games for kids at our booth between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Earth Path is a non-profit organization based in the Ottawa region, dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships between people and the natural world.
