Schools from around NZ will be invited to paint wooden cutout shorebirds to display locally with rubbish scattered around the birds/tied on with a sign saying “Protect Birds: Be the solution to plastic pollution” as well as signs about specific NZ shorebirds on both May 11 and October 12.
