In order to familiarize people with bird-watching activities and the importance of the World Migratory Bird Day, I decided to arrange Bird-watching Workshop with a friend in the Baharan Institute on 5 May 2019.
In this workshop, we talked about the presence of birds around us, their beauties, habitats and the pleasure of watching them. We cited about bird-watching activities as one of the most enjoyable leisure activities for their leisure time and we remembered the World Migratory Birds Day as one of the biggest and most important days in world. We also emphasized the importance of using less plastic to protect birds and due to this year's theme, we investigated the negative effects of plastic in nature and birds life.
At the end, I tried to attract the participants' attention to the world around us, as well as the lives of the birds and their enjoyment watching in their natural environment. In this regard, we also arranged diverse bird-watching programs in nature, one of them will be held on 9 May 2019 with the participation of the general public and the enthusiasts on the occasion of World Migratory Birds Day.
