Since 2007, Dubai Municipality has been celebrating World Migratory Bird Day which falls on the 2nd week of May every year. This year, for the first time in the campaign’s history, the celebrations have been extended to the month of October, an important transition which is also timely and relevant to the key event in Dubai – The Ramsar COP 13th. The theme for 2018 is “Unifying our Voices for Bird Conservation” which aims to bring all the voices together to amplify the message of bird conservation.
In an effort to create awareness about the above theme, Dubai Municipality will be hosting a seminar that will bring academics and conservation practitioners under one roof to discuss the theme in context of the UAE region.
The seminar will be held at the DM Falcon Heritage and Sports Center in Nad Al Sheba on 11th October 2018, from 8.30 am to 2:00 pm.
