Education of children about bird migration

Croatian Society for Birds and Nature Protection (in collaboration with Kopački rit Nature Park Directorate) will held an educational event for kindergarten and elementary school children. The event will include: a powerpoint presentation about bird migration in general, birdwatching tour along the nearby walkboard passing through marshes and alluvial forests, and a demonstration of passerine birds ringing using mist nets. The event is organized in the frame of the Adriatic Flyway 4 project sponsored by the MAVA Foundation. Media coverage would be also included.
