Birdwatching

On Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 10 am to noon, come to Parque Ambiental do Alambre (Alambre Environmental Park), in Arrábida Nature Park, to celebrate the World Migratory Bird Day. Come and meet a fantastic group of birds that travel thousands of kilometres, some of which spend part of their lives in Portugal.

We taught a little group of primary school children about their local birds and we went birding to find them. They were aged from 4 to 11.

On Sept. 30th, we organized the first PAU birdwatching event in Cuenca (Ecuador).
PAU is an association to help citizens to know more about birds and nature around them.

A l'occasion de la Journée Mondiale des Oiseaux Migrateurs, nous iront nous balader à la Vasière des Badamiers pour observer les premiers arrivés et en apprendre plus sur eux.

To celebrate the World Migratory Bird Day, we will go for a walk at the Vasière des Badamiers to observe the first arrivals and learn more about them.

Charla sobre la importancia de reducir la contaminacion deluces en ciudades y areas importantes para la conservacion de aves durante la epoca de migracion para alumnos de la escuela publica Centro Escolar Caserio La Mora, Canton El Zapote, Suchitoto El Salvadro Centro America, vamos a pasar videos y utilxar material didactico para identificar las especies de aves y las amenazas que ellas enfrentan durante la migracion . observacion de aves en la escuela y alrededores con binoculares donados esto se va a realizar con los guias de aviturimso local Manuel y Juan

Let's Green The Future Trust in commemoration of wmbd will be hosting an educational event raising awareness on the impact of light on birds. In addition to that a there will be birdwatching

Light pollution and its impact on migratory birds is the focus of World Migratory Bird Day 2022, a global campaign that aims to raise awareness of migratory birds and the need for international cooperation to conserve them. Activities to mark the day will be held globally under the theme “Dim the Lights for Birds at Night”.

Join us on Saturday, October 22nd at 8am for morning Birdwatching Bingo! The first 3 kids to cross off 5 birds in a row on their card will win a prize!
