\"Welcome to Red-breasted flycatchers\"

Papuk Nature Park, situated in eastern Croatia is mountain region covered with beech, fir and oak forests. Due to very big population of White-collared Flycatcher and breeding Booted Eagle Papuk is nationally important bird area. Bird-watching event was organized in the oldest beech forest in Papuk Nature Park, in Park Forest Jankovac. After short presentation about 30 school children, accompanied with their teachers and press-representatives take a bird-watching walk through forest. Jankovac is the only place where Red-breasted Flycatchers breed in Papuk and we are pleased to report that children have had opportunity to see and hear this long-distance migrant among other interesting bird species as White-backed Woodpecker or Stock-Dove are.
