The "Wader Migration Game", a 2h-educational activity, offers a playful approach to migratory birds and the Wadden Sea ecosystem as stopping place on the East-Atlantic flyway. In the role of a wader chic the children experience the adventure of migration and discover the importance of undisturbed feeding and resting grounds along the flyway. Bird-watching activities complete the programme. Every participant receives a "logbook" of the journey to take home.
The activity is run in German and aims at children from 8-12 years. The group meets at "Nationalpark-Haus Husum" on Saturday, 10.5.08, 11.00h.
