Un día con las Aves de tu Facultad

We will carry on a bird watching activity in the surrounding green areas of the Veracruz University-Faculty of Biology (Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas y Agropecuarias of the Universidad Veracruzana). We have planning to make teams with students from this institution from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. and from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Teams will be attended each hour for a professional ornithologist to teach them how to use binoculars and how can get the main advises to recognize bird species. Each team will have a minimum of three students and maximum 10 students per each hour. The main objective of this activity is to approach students with birds that can be seen within the Faculty area, and that they can apply this experience to other green areas to widespread the idea of that ordinary spaces are important to know and to increase the importance of maintaining birds
