Cranes are gathering once again in Northern Germany to prepare for their long journey to Southern Africa. Their flight path usually takes them over Bonn, bringing joy and inspiration to many.
On 10 October, people all over the world will celebrate World Migratory Bird Day to pay tribute to this natural wonder. The City of Bonn is proud to host the Convention on Migratory Species and the African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbird Agreement, the two primary UN entities coordinating international action to protect these magnificent migratory animals across borders.
